ÂŞIK VEYSEL
FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT
We will expose ourselves to what comes to us from the world of words that we have heard from Aşık Veysel.
But at the same time, our inevitably confined state of "observing" will lead each of us to a myriad of imaginings of what we might gain from it. Isn't this preferable to everyone dispersing into uniform states of being?

EXHIBITION SECTIONS
The narrative begins with Aşık Veysel's childhood, continues with his blindness and his subsequent perception of the environment. It then allows us to get to know the poet more closely through a digital and physical archive exhibition.
LIGHT
Until I was seven years old, I ran around, laughed, and played like everyone else. The places where I gathered crocuses, the places I visited, now live in my mind like a dream, a vivid memory... (Aşık Veysel Şatıroğlu)

DARKNESS
We witness the moment of blindness and the subsequent change in his perception of the environment. Because the last color he remembers is red, we see him abstractly represented through this color palette.

ARCHIVE
A journey into the life of Aşık Veysel, through excerpts from the rich world of his words.
